Some of my best memories are wrapped in the glow of a campfire and the scent of burning wood mixing with the cool night air. Camping wasn't about screens or schedules—it was about stories, music, and the kind of laughter that carries through the trees long after the fire dies down.
We’d gather around the fire at a campsite in woods where the wind seemed to hum along with our songs. A friend would start strumming an old guitar, the kind with a few too many scratches but had a sound that resonated with your soul. We’d take turns swapping ghost stories, the kind meant to send a shiver down your spine, only to break the tension with a song that brought everyone back to reality.
That’s where I fell in love with music and guitars—not just playing them, but the way it could turn a moment into something unforgettable. A song wasn’t just a melody; it was a story, a feeling, a memory pressed into wood and strings. It was the four right chords that could touch your heart and make you cry.
After playing for years, I kept coming back to those nights. I wanted to start selling instruments that carried that same magic—to pass along the same warmth of a shared song, the rawness of an old tale, the feeling that a guitar wasn’t just an object but a keeper of stories.
Ghostwood Guitars was born from that idea. Every guitar has a story, whether it’s old or new. They have the potential to bring out greatness in players. Each one is meant to feel like an old friend—something that’s been around long enough to have its own ghosts, but still has plenty of songs left to sing.
Because music, much like a good ghost story, is meant to be passed down, shared, and played long into the night.

Who We Are
At Ghostwood Guitars, we are currently set up to be an online store only. We aim to buy, sell, and trade quality used guitars and gear for guitar players of all ages and stages in their musical journey! Even though we aren't able to have a store front just yet, we are able to meet in a public area if you are local or just willing to make the drive. We are located in Gallatin, Tennessee, just 30 minutes north of Nashville. Thanks for stopping by and please, don't hesitate to reach out for any questions you may have.

We are currently an online guitar shop only, but can meet in person if you are local or willing to make the trip. Just contact us to set up a plan. Unfortunately, we still have a full-time jobs so we will not be available during the day most likely. I will be available most evenings though.
